About VVP

Vision, Voice, & Practice (VVP) is a course from Biola University, where a mix of English majors and Studio Art majors join together to set a place and time to create. I fit right in this environment, since I am technically both an English and Art major. This class gives me the opportunity to not only express my artistic and writing skills, but to learn what it means to create, especially since God created things.

Taught by the Chair of the English department, Christopher Davidson, and art professor Dan Callis, they provided  space and time for students create, based on their disciplines. We also analyze the similarities between words (e.g. poetry) and art (e.g. photography) and how they can work together. Since I have a strong interest in both AND my major's main goal is to integrate two unique disciplines, this class has helped me on what I want to do.

I created this space to share two things: my weekly practices and my collaboration projects. I think it is important to share my weekly works during my time in college, as graduation is around the corner. Though this course ends in May, I plan on continuing my weekly practices and will keep everything here.
